What Door Will Education Open For Women In The Philippines? By Dominique
Why Is Being Educated Important? Men are able to source hands on jobs and work on a farm whilst women rely on a school education. Girls often leave school as their families cant afford to send them to school and they must go and find a job. Getting a job early means that they miss out on years of schooling. They are vunerable and not able to get a good job. They cannot argue, that they are not paid enough or they will be fired.
Why Aren’t Women In The Philippines Educated? Traditionally girls in the Philippines stay home and do all the housework. Some girls must drop out of schools as they need to find a job to support their families.
