Fighting a cab/engine fire Turn off the vehicle’s engine Don’t panic Disconnect battery cables (if it can be done safely in event of electrical fire) 3a

Fighting a cab/engine fire Don’t open the hood more than necessary (engine fire) Never use water on a petroleum based fire Follow fire extinguisher’s directions Never assume a fire is completely out 3b
