FFD 201 – REFLECTED CEILING PLAN A ceiling plan is a plan of a room as seen from above but having its ceiling surfaces and elements projected downward upon it. For this reason, we usually call this view a reflected ceiling plan. Reflected ceiling plans have the same orientation as the floor plan. We typically draw ceiling plans at the same scale as the floor plan. As with floor plans, it is important to profile all vertical elements that rise to meet the ceiling.
