GRAGE PROJECT Overview of WP7 DISSEMINATION

GOALS OF THE WP FROM ANNEX I • to develop and implement a coherent strategy for disseminating the results of the project among relevant stakeholders (policy- and decision-makers, scientific community, entrepreneurs in the urbanization related industries, public and private institution involved in delivering urbanization related solutions); • to create visibility and strengthen the impact of the project’s outcomes through the dissemination of the project’s activities and results to larger audience in the target countries and at EU level; • to raise awareness about the issue, the project and its activities, by developing a comprehensive body of visibility tools and materials, to reach the general public.

Task 7.1. Dissemination Plan DESCRIPTION: The dissemination plan will define the specific activities to be carried out in the 4-year period, considering strategies and tools (key messages, channels) to be used to reach the target audience of GRAGE, as well as general public (outreach activities) RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: ALL TASKS: a) Elaboration of dissemination plan - Militos b) Partner inputs – All OUTPUT: Deliverable D7.1 Dissemination plan EXPECTED DELIVERY: M7

Task 7.2 Direct and Indirect Dissemination activities PART I DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPECTED ACTIVITIES design and implementation of a public website and Facebook account/page; establishment and management of a Committee of External Experts (representing the community of interest) of professionals/entrepreneurs and associations in GRAGE topics (see par. 4.2); coordinate with and foster involvement in the activities of relevant interest groups in the dissemination target areas; preparation of printed and electronic information material (i.e. flyers, project leaflet, press releases, journal papers, etc.); prepare a conference programme that will target specific scientific communities in the economics and humanities, ICT, social science, and law fields;

Task 7.2 Direct and Indirect Dissemination activities PART II organise 6 workshopS in each of the participating countries where the results of the GRAGE project will be presented. These workshops will allow dissemination among relevant policy bodies (ministries, local and regional authorities), professionals, business community and the general public as well; preparation of Green & Grey Open Days for university students and schools; preparation and submission of papers from scientific partners to be published in scientific papers / conferences; making results available to the Commission information services.

Committee of external experts DESCRIPTION: establishment and management of a Committee of External Experts (representing the community of interest) of professionals/entrepreneurs and associations in GRAGE topics RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: Unimc TASK: to identify experts and invite them – Unimc to invite experts to give a speech during the final conference Unimc support to identify experts if necessary – Militos OUTPUT: participation of experts in the final conference (to be reported in the Final report on dissemination D7.3) EXPECTED DELIVERY: M48

Subtask 7.2.3 involvement of interest groups DESCRIPTION: coordinate with and foster involvement in the activities of relevant interest groups in the dissemination target areas (through Open forum and short video); RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: Unimc and Wp leaders 1.OPEN FORUMS TASK: to create an open forum in the project website – Militos to forward external inputs to relevant WP leader – Militos elaboration of content of the reply – relevant WP leader to select relevant stakeholders – Militos with support of Unimc if requested to promote (“let them know”) Open forums among relevant stakeholders - Militos OUTPUT: Deliverable D7.6 Release of two open forums (see next slide) EXPECTED DELIVERY: M6

OPEN FORUMS 1 . Open forum for Elderly people. Create a Forum in the Project Website to collect suggestions, opinions and have a feedback on outgoing results from “Ageing society” with a specific target group consisting of associations of elderly people and community organizations able to gather opinion and feedback from elderly people; 2. Open forum for Professionals and Business community, Target: Create a Forum in the Project Website to collect suggestions, opinions and have a feedback on outgoing results from professionals with a specific target group consisting of associations of professionals and entrepreneur of relevant industries

SHORT VIDEOS TASKS: elaboration of the content of the videos – Militos with inputs from other partners production of videos – Militos and Unimc (Unimc has skills to create video to be webstreamed) to promote videos among relevant stakeholders - Militos OUTPUT: Deliverable D7.7: 3 short videos (see next slide) EXPECTED DELIVERY: M44

SHORT VIDEOS D7.7 : Release of 3 short videos summarizing the main results of GRAGE 3 videos 1 video for final results of GRAGE 1 video for Elderly people, with easy and funny stories 1 video for professionals and business industry with effective message on Green&Grey issues/ opportunities  Inhouse knowledge and technology for UniMc will be used.  

Subtask 7.2.4 printed and electronic information material DESCRIPTION: preparation of printed and electronic information material (i.e. flyers, project leaflet, press releases, journal papers, etc.); RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: Unimc TASK: a) to create digital leaflet, flier, logo – Unimc – partners will decide if to print them or not using their budget B) submission of scientific papers to journal – WP leaders (see also subtask 7.2.8) C) elaboration of press releases - (see next slide) OUTPUT: to be reported in dissemination reports EXPECTED DELIVERY: M25 (interim dissemination Report) e M48 (final dissemination report)

Focus on press releases: a proposal At least 8 press releases, as follows: 1 in occasion of KO meeting 1 for each of the 6 workshops (see subtask 7.2.6) 1 in occasion of final conference

Subtask 7.2.5: final conference DESCRIPTION: prepare a conference programme that will target specific scientific communities in the economics and humanities, ICT, social science, and law fields RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: Unimc TASK: support to logistical aspects – Militos elaboration of flyer – Unimc to invite stakeholders - Militos OUTPUT: Deliverable D7.8 Final conference EXPECTED DELIVERY: M48

Subtask 7.2.6: 6 workshops DESCRIPTION: organise 6 workshops in each of the participating countries where the results of the GRAGE project will be presented. These workshops will allow dissemination among relevant policy bodies (ministries, local and regional authorities), professionals, business community and the general public as well; RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: partners where workshops are organised TASKS: organisation of the workshop – a partner institution in each country monitoring of the events – Militos to make sure that event is organised in coherence with Annex I of GA - Militos OUTPUT: 6 workshops to be reported in interim or final dissemination report WHEN: workshops are organised between M24-M36 WHERE: 1 workshop in Italy, 1 in Greece, 1 in Germany, 1 in Finland, 1 in the Netherlands, 1 in Ukraine; EXPECTED DELIVERY: M25 as to interim dissemination report or M48 for final dissemination report

Subtask 7.2.7: Green and Grey Open Days DESCRIPTION: preparation of Green & Grey Open Days for university students and schools. Students and the general public (mostly elderly people an local administrations) visit the research institutions and labs (4 events, one in each Academic Institution). RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: Unimc, Utrecht University, Ulster University, Oulu University organisation of the event – each participating partner monitoring of the event – Militos to make sure that event is organised in coherence with Annex I of GA - Militos OUTPUT: 4 Oped day events to be reported in interim or final dissemination report WHEN: events are preferably organised between M24-M36 WHERE: 1 Open Day at Unimc, 1 Open Day at Ulster University, 1 at Oulu University, 1 at Utrecht University; EXPECTED DELIVERY: M25 as to interim dissemination report or M48 for final dissemination report

Subtask 7.2.8: scientific publications/conferences DESCRIPTION: preparation and submission of scientific papers from partners to be published in scientific journals/ conferences RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: Unimc, Utrecht University, Ulster University, Oulu University elaboration of the paper - participating partners submission to scientific journals/conferences – participating partners monitoring of the dissemination activities - Militos and WP leaders OUTPUT: N. 8 publications N. 6 participation to prestigious international conferences (1 for each WP) N. 6 panel sessions in conferences (1 for each WP) EXPECTED DELIVERY: to be reported in M25 in the interim dissemination report or in M48 in the final dissemination report Note: costs related to Open access or participation to conferences will be covered by participating partners

Subtask 7.2.9: dissemination reports DESCRIPTION: making results available to the Commission information services RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: ALL TASKS: to collect data from participating partners to monitor implementation of all dissemination and outreach activities to draw dissemination reports OUTPUT: Deliverable D7.2 : Interim dissemination report  DeliverableD7.3 : Final dissemination and outreach initiatives report EXPECTED DELIVERY: M25 as to interim dissemination report or M48 for final dissemination report

Other : web-seminar DESCRIPTION: A web-seminar will be organized in order to instruct all researchers (from academic and non academic institutions) on the importance of creating awareness – among the general public - about the research work performed within GRAGE and related strategies to be developed. RESPONSIBLE PARTNER: Militos PARTICIPATING PARTNERS: Unimc, TASKS a) elaboration of the content of the video – Militos with inputs from Unimc B) production of video – Militos and Unimc (Unimc has skills to create video to be webstreamed OUTPUT: 1 video to be uploaded in the project website EXPECTED DELIVERY: within M12, to be reported M25 in the interim dissemination report

Other : focus on European Chart of Researcher Unimc will be responsible for specific actions targeting ERs and ESRs, such as: implementation of a page in the Website of GRAGE with relevant information on the ECR and an open forum for Q&A on the Chart; implementation of a page in the Website with direct link to Euraxess social media (webpage, Facebook, twitter) and relevant updated information on job advertisements, roadshows and other relevant events (also to be posted on GRAGE Facebook area); facilitating meetings and direct advisory support from the Committee of External Experts to assess individual career perspectives and opportunities (i.e. experts’ contacts will be made available)
