World Regional CO 2 Emissions for 1900, 1950, and 2000 By Kerri Bessinger Purpose: Purpose: To show the world’s CO 2 emissions in order to see not only which regions of the world emit more CO 2, but to also show the increase of emissions in 100 years. To show the world’s CO 2 emissions in order to see not only which regions of the world emit more CO 2, but to also show the increase of emissions in 100 years.
Method Used: –Took all the countries and placed them into regions by creating a new column in arc view. –On the map adjacent boundaries of countries were dissolved in the same region so that it would only have boundaries between the different regions.
