GETTING TO SCHOOL Ariane school ● In our class 12 pupils walk to school, 3 come by bus, 4 by car and 3 by bike. ● We need 5 to 20 minutes to come to school. ●

Distance to school ● We are lucky because our school is close by. ● At the end of next year we change schools and some of us will go further for vocational schools. ● There are a lot of shool next to our houses and we are choise for the further. ● Schools are 30 minutes max because we live next to Paris and they are pupils in our city. ● We are a lot of transports for come to a further school, it's an advantage for us.

The people in the school ● In our school we use "vous" (very formal) with teachers and supervisors we must respect them, and "tu" (informal) with pupils. Use "tu" with a teacher or a supervisor is very disrespectful.

The people in the school ● The pupils are mixed and everyone is quite unique,they are a lot of styles. We have friends in different classes. Each pupil hangs around with his/her group of friends. We are friends with everyone in the classe and another classe too. Boys give high five to say hello and girls give a kiss on the cheek to say hello.

The Building and its facilities ● Merikadun Koulus school is an old school. Aki says it looks like a box or a prison. Niko explains that the air is bad and many pupils get sick. Merikatu will be destroyed in one year. ● Your pool table room was like a battlefield so it's was closed. ● We hope that your new school will be better. ● Ariane school isn't very old. It was built in ● There sometimes are leaks when it rains too much. ● There are a lots of windows so it's very hot in summer. ● It's a good school we like walking in its luminous corridors. Our school looks apparently better than yours. ● We also have a room for students. It's closed too because of damages. ● The canteen is not very big but it's good.

Subjects We study : ● Maths, ● English we started in primary school ● German or Spanish that choice is made in 6 th (when we are 12), because German begins in 5 th and Spanish begins in the 4 th grade

● History and Geography as well as Civilian education ● Arts, ● some choose Latin which also begins in 5th, it helps us for French because French is a Latin language ● Sports, ● Information Technology, ● Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Biology ● Music.

LUNCH In the canteen, we often eat a salad,cheese,meat,pasta etc. We have a big canteen and it has tables of 4 persons. We have carafe in the tables. We eat with the teachers but separately. Lunch isn’t free and many students prefer to eat at home
