In this Power Point I will explain Charlotte Doyle’s traits that were shown in the book True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. Some of the traits that I am showing are, Caring Brave Self-centered Helpful I have various examples to prove my point for these things. I also have various reasons to do the traits that I am doing.
One of Charlotte Doyle’s traits are that she is very caring. When Zachariah dies she offers to help the crew because they are one man down. So they have work to do. When she is seeing that Zachariah is in pain she tries to help him by taking the whip from Hollybrass trying to save Zachariah. Even though Charlotte didn’t mean to hit Captain Jaggery and it was a mistake she apologizes to him. To show that she was sorry for what she had done.
Another one of Charlotte traits is that she is very brave. Some of my reasons to prove this is, When she saw Zachariah getting hurt she got the guts to go and grab the whip. When she saw the man in the cargo when she went to get her luggage she was very scared but she went to see who it was with the dirk in her hand.
Another one of Charlotte traits are that she is self-centered some of my reasons to prove this are. She was raised fortunate so she thinks that she is better than everyone on the ship because they are poor. When she first meets Zachariah she doesn’t like him because he is and old black poor man. p qjvc_400.jpg
Some of the things to show that Charlotte is helpful is, When Zachariah died she saw that the crew needed help because they were down a man so she offered to help them. When she hit Captain Jaggery with the whip she apologized to him. She also helped Captain Jaggery by telling him about the round robin.
This information came from the book The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, By Avi. I also got some of my pictures from Google images. I hope you enjoyed it.
