OAP Objective (adapted from the OAP Detailed Design, Audio and Video) Technical Advances and Observatory Efficiency No One at Summit Easier Work Environment Mechanical Failure Solution: –Need to monitor and remotely control observatory systems –Can be done through sensors, programmable logic controllers, and WEBCAMS

What is in Progress for the OAP Software Infrastructure Remote Control of Mirror Cover and Cooling Systems, Telescope Control System, and Dome Shutter (to name a few) AUDIO and VIDEO MONITORING
