Human Body By: Alyssa

Systems O There are many systems like the digestive, skeleton system, circulatory system and lots more.

Digestive System O The digestive system helps you digest your food. O The digestive system connects with all of our other systems.

Cells O There are different cells like there are cells inside your eyes that senses the light but those aren't the only cells there are also blood cells and many many many more. Your whole body is filled with cells.

What is your inner eye made of? O The inside of the eye has gel like stuff called vitreous. It also has cells that can sense light.

How many layers of skin do you have? O We have 3 main layers of skin. They are the epidemic, the dermis and the hypodermis.

What makes people blind other than sickness? O People can be blinded from inherited disease that can run in some families or from an injury, like getting poked in the eye with a stick.

How do germs make you sick? O Not all germs make you sick but some germs do because they send chemicals that hurt your own body's cells.

How does exercising make your heart beat faster? O Exercise makes your heart beat faster because it sends the heart signals through the nerves to tell it to beat faster. It also releases chemicals in the body that also tell the heart to beat faster.

How does your voice get hoarse? O Your voice happens because air from your lungs flows through your voice box also known as your larynx. It is like air blowing through a horn. When the voice box gets irritated and swells it changes the sound of your voice. Just like changing a note on a horn.

What else can you tell me about human body? O The human body is very complicated and every day we learn more about it. I hope you continue your interest in the human body and someday help us all understand it a bit better.

All About Me O I am 8 Years Old O I am a Christian. O My teacher is Ms. Polanski. O My favorite subject in school is science. O Dr. Osman helped me.
