Diagnostic Test of Professional Skills Step-by-Step

Diagnostic Test of Professional Skills From September 2015 onwards, each new Master student will receive an invitation by within the first month of their master program to do the Diagnostic Test of Skills (OER art. 3.4). This invitation will be sent by TU/e student administration. 2TU/e SkillsLab

Log on to your personal skills assessment page

Not started This page shows an overview of all elements of the assessment, including the personal reports that have been generated for you.

The Broad Diagnostic Test on Skills starts with a broad test on 13 competences.

The selection of these 13 competences has been based on a variety of input, from major employers for TU/e graduates, to the TU/e Academic Competencies and Quality Assurance or ACQA.

To assess your personal ability to develop certain competences, a personality test is also part of this broad test.

Completed Not started After completion, you receive a personal report by , which you can also find in your personal skills assessment page.

Completed Not started Secondly, a specific set of three skills are tested further. These three skills are crucial to the success of your Master program

For each of these skills, you are asked to think back to specific experiences with using or observing this skill. Then, you are asked to compare your behavior to example behavior to establish your score.

Completed Not started After completion, you can find a personal report with development tips in your personal skills assessment page.

Completed Not started Finally, you can create a personal skills development plan based on your skills reports.

Completed Not started Completion of the course codes connected to each element of the assessment is automatically recorded in the study administration.
