Second Grade Second Grade Mrs. Kroeger

A little bit about me… Mrs. Deborah Kroeger This is my 14 th year teaching at Cook Elementary! My husband, Kirk, and I have been married for 10 years and we have 3 remarkable boys (Bryant, Easton, and Trevin). I grew up in West Point, Utah, with 4 brothers. I love to go camping, hunting, and fishing with my family. I also love to read, play games, watch movies, and go on family bike rides! I love teaching!!! (I also love Kit Kat bars and peanut M&Ms.) My favorite part of teaching Second Grade is to see the excitement and eagerness to learn in each student and their educational growth throughout the school year..

Donations Individual Student Supply List: (Feel free to write your child's name on these items so that they can be returned at the end of the school year.) *large zipper pencil pouch *pencil box (8" x 5" is best) *dry erase markers and a sock *headphones for technology use Please do not send three-ring binders, folders, extra-large pencil boxes, and/or small pencil sharpeners to school with your child. These items take up too much room in a student's desk and/or cause unnecessary messes (picture a pile of pencil and crayon shavings building up in a student's desk). Thanks! Other Classroom Supplies Needed: (These items are considered donations for the classroom community, so please do not write individual names on them.) *pencils *crayons- 16 or 24 pack *tissues *glue sticks *water bottle for our class emergency kit *index cards *hand sanitizer (large bottle to share) *Clorox Wipes (to clean desks weekly to reduce sickness) *small items to be used for the class store *small wrapped treats such as Tootsie Rolls, suckers, or Jolly Ranchers *small paper plates and cups *glue sticks (Did I mention glue sticks?) *dry erase markers **Notice: The items on this list will be used throughout the school day. They may be brought from home on a volunteer basis, otherwise they will be furnished for the students by school funds.**

Field Trips/Curriculum Enhancement We have numerous first hand experiences planned for the year to help enhance the curriculum. We have several within walking distance of the school, but some require a bus and entrance fee. We will be asking for a voluntary donation of $5.00 per bus field trip. We rely solely on donations received to be able to participate in many of these activities. If you are in a position to donate additional money, that would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Questions?? Concerns?? Comments?? Thank you for your support! This will be a fantastic school year!
