We are located off KOLAD on Mumbai Goa Highway (Maharashtra, India). The resort is sited on a sprawling 50 acres of scenic, pollution free land with a lake on one side and a hill on the other. It is slightly elevated and has River Kundalika flowing close to it. This makes it an ideal location for adventure and outdoor activities. Travel Campers will travel by AC transport (Mini bus / SUVs) from Mumbai / Pune to camp and back accompanied by an escort. It takes approx 4 hrs from Mumbai via Mumbai Goa Highway to reach us from Pune it takes approximately 3 hours via Chandani Chowk We will be traveling from AC SUV’s or AC bus from Mumbai / Pune to the camp & back. Meals Veg / Non Veg& Jain Food Buffet meals are served at fixed hours. The children specific menu does not only cater for their taste but is also planned well in terms of balanced nutritional value, weather conditions and variety. Bournvita, limewater, kokam sharbat are provided throughout the day and during the activities to keep the campers hydrated. KIT LIST Comfortable clothing for an outdoor programme. Cater for adequate change of clothes. 2 medium size towels. A good pair of sports shoes (preferably not brand new) is essential with 4-5 pairs of cotton socks. Floaters are preferred during water based activities Please send sunscreen, as children will be out in the sun. It is also available in our tuck shop. We do have a tuck shop where items of daily use are available. Cotton shorts, or capris or track pants are advised during trekking or other outbound activities. Please cater for enough change. Personal medicines, if any, must be carried. This information should be furnished so that we take care of this aspect. One Torch with cells with spare set of cells (No pencil torches). Avoid sending valuables. We discourage use of electronics during the camp. However what the children carry is purely at their own risk and they will be responsible for their safe custody. We are particular about safety and security. Children must be told to follow such instructions. Please restrict money to about Rs 500. He/she may require it for soft drinks, purchases of essential items at the tuck shop or for making telephone calls. Please send soft luggage and as far as possible avoid hard suitcases. Col Naval Kohli Col Naval Kohli has served the Indian Army for 24 years. He has rich experience in human resource development and has specialised in the field of training. He has held instructional tenures and has commanded various logistics units. He has also served in Somalia under the aegis of UNITED NATIONS PEACE KEEPING FORCE and has been awarded a French Army medal for distinguished service.
