(Huozhe Huozhe) 2004 Morecambe Bay, Lancashire This memorial project was a tribute to the Chinese cockle pickers who drowned at Morecambe Bay in February It was an exploration of the dark underbelly of globalisation in the context of Britain and China. The artists inscribed the word alive, alive oh! in the sand, which was subsequently swept away by the incoming tide.
