Being Polite In Class By: Mitchell (2nd grade student with ASD)

To be polite is to show good manners. Being polite makes everyone happy. This book tells the rules to being polite when I am in class. There are many ways I can be polite when I am in my classroom at school.

It is polite to be quiet when the teacher is talking. It is polite to wait until the teacher is finished talking before asking questions.

It is polite to raise my hand when I want to talk in class. It is polite to be quiet when I am doing my work in class.

It is polite to be quiet an take my turn when other students are talking in class. It is NOT polite to touch other children when I am in class. There are many ways to be polite in class. It makes my teacher and the other children in class happy when I am polite.
