 Chile has low coastal mountains; fertile central valley; rugged Andes in east. Andes mountains Zona Central, Chile

 Chile boarders the South Pacific Ocean. Chile does not have any major lakes or rivers.

 Because of tremendous variations in climate and geography, few plants or animals are found throughout Chile. Guanacos - wild relatives of the llama and alpaca. Pumas still inhabit many national parks throughout the country. Wildflowers bloom in the middle of the Atacama Desert. llaretas only grow at high altitudes.
