Operational Information Equipment Manual Equipment manual Introduction: We encourage the use of a common template and methodology to produce Equipment Manuals (sometimes called equipment usage documents).
Operational Information Purpose: The use of a common template and methodology will ensure consistency, reduce duplication and drive out efficiencies and ensure the content is complimentary to and not in conflict with the other products within the TOG Framework. Use: EM ensures the information required under H&S legislation is provided in an easy to read format. Adopting a common template and format allows the same document to be viewed and used across all services that deploy the particular piece of equipment. Relationship: TOG products avoid referring to specific models or manufacturers of equipment, allowing the EM to serve their purpose of providing information on the use of specific equipment.
