WHAT IS INTERNET MARKETING?  Achieving marketing objectives through applying digital technologies.  The application of internet and related digital technologies in conjunction with the traditional communications to achieve marketing objectives.  E-Marketing: - Achieving the marketing objectives through use of electronic communication technologies.

 Smith and Chaffey (2005) say that e-marketing can be used to support the aims as followed: a.Identifying: for marketing research to find out customer’s needs and demands. b.Anticipating: The internet provides an additional channels by which customers can access information and make purchases. c.Satisfying: achieving customer’s satisfaction through electronic channel

 Digital marketing: -Has a similar meaning to electronic marketing. -Both describe the management and execution of marketing using electronic media such as the web, s, interactive TV and wireless media in conjunction with digital data about customer’s characteristics and behavior.

DIGITAL MARKETING  Involves: 1.Applying these technologies which from online channels to market: s,web, databases,mobile/wireless TV 2.Achieving these objectives: support marketing activities aimed at achieving profitable acquisition and retention of customers. 3.Through using marketing tactics: recognising the strategic importance of digital technologies and developing a planned approach to reach and migrate customers to online services through e-communication an traditional communications
