Lower speed tube filling machines are usually connected to Promatic P150/P100 intermittent motion horizontal cartoning machines, compact units suitable for medium speed applications, having an ergonomic “balcony design” which facilitates inspection and cleaning operations. Carton size changeovers can be quickly and easily accomplished, thanks to the incorporation of digital and electronic adjustments wherever possible. Promatic’s new continuous motion AS300 cartoner, suitable for hi-speed applications, has been developed in line with higher market demands, utilizing the latest concepts in flexibility, efficiency and ergonomic design. The modular configuration of the machine allows customization to individual Customer requirements and also permits the addition of a wide range of optional components. Format changes are quickly and easily achieved, with the help of position guides. To complete the packaging lines, Promatic can also supply a new balcony-design case packer (PAK 300), allowing flexible automatic loading of empty cases directly into the magazine at floor level, thus avoiding any manual lifting.
