AHA Training Bulletins Remember to utilize the course “challenge” option for seasoned professionals. Refer to the AHA Training Memo for details. The BLS for Prehospital Providers Course is available. Course can be taught by a BLS instructor. It is strongly recommended that the instructor is a part of the EMS System or familiar with local protocols.

2015 ECC Guidelines Will be released on October 15, 2015 Updated training materials will be released in phases, starting January/February 2016 Instructors will be required to complete an update regarding the new guidelines. More information to come.

COURSE ROSTERS MUST be filled out completely and accurately Roster must match course being conducted Be sure to use the most current roster – dated March 2013 Type or print legibly – Block lettering preferred Must include instructor name & Instructor ID number of instructor who taught the course Submitted within 10 business days of course completion Instructor is to maintain tests, skills sheets, and evals – please do not send with roster

COURSE COMPLETION CARDS Successfully meet course completion requirements Valid for 2 years from course completion date Issued for correctly completed rosters Issued within 5-7 business days from receipt of roster Payment by check, cash, money order, credit card or invoice

EQUIPMENT Available for rent Should be reserved days prior to course to ensure it is available Must be returned in condition received Must be returned decontaminated Inform TC if equipment missing, broken, or needs replaced.

FOR 2015 REAUTHORIZATION For each discipline authorized to teach – Must have taught at least 4 classes from July 2013 through June Class could have been an initial, recertification, skills check-off, challenge, or as an assistant. – Proof of skills proficiency in discipline
