Plenary- How far do you agree with Niall Ferguson’s interpretation? Niall Ferguson argues that “men may have simply fought because they thought fighting was fun”. The aim of this piece of writing is to explain whether or not I agree with this point of view. One argument he puts forward for men fighting is that they were forced to.
