Instructional Design  instructional design is the systematic process by which instructional materials are designed, developed, and delivered.

instructional designer  a professional who analyzes learning and performance problems and their solutions.

The goal of instructional design  a creating experiences which make the acquisition of knowledge and skill more effective and efficient.

Why do we use instructional design models?  Instructional design model learn us how to use organize appropriate to achieve instructional goals.

How does it help improve instruction?  Instructional design is the analysis of Reimagining Learning needs and systematic development of instruction.

Instructional design model Instructional design model  An instructional design model gives structure and meaning to an I.D. problem, enabling the would-be designer to negotiate her design task with a semblance of conscious understanding.

ADDIE Model ADDIE Model  Analysis  Design  Development  Implementation  Evaluation

 a systematic exploration of the way things are and the way thing should be. The difference is the performance gap. Analysis Phase

This is some of the questions that are addressed during the analysis phase:  * Who is the audience and their characteristics?  * Who is the audience and their characteristics?  * Identify the new behavioral outcome?  * Identify the new behavioral outcome?  * What types of learning constraints exist?

Design phase  if analysis identifies a performance gap, the design will outline the performance objectives

 These are steps used for the design phase:

 * Create storyboards  * Design the user interface and user experience * Prototype creation * Apply visual design (graphic design)

Develop phase  Using the information gathered in the analysis and design phase, the performance solution is created.

 This stage includes delivery of the performance solution Implement phase

Evaluate  measurement of how well the performance solution achieved the objectives.

How do we evaluate and revise our design before implementing the instruction?  Compare my design with successful design  Matching our design with the content and the audience
