Presentation transcript:

Your immune system helps your body work is many different ways. It fights germs, kills diseases, and heals cuts and wounds. Some of the diseases you get are Graves disease, Hashimoto Thyroiditis, Lupis, HIV/aid, Multiple Scleross, Cancer, Parasites, and Tape Worms.

Your body is like a castle. Your Immune System defends against germs. The skin is the first defense of your Immune System. The outside layer of your skin that has special cells which warns the body about incoming germs. Some of the other defenses are your mouth, nose, and your eyes.

Here are some things that happen to you when your Immune System is working..If you get better after your sick..If your cut heals without getting infected..When you get swollen Glands. When you get swellness and soreness around a cut.

The Immune System is amazing. It deals with millions of bacteria and viruses every day to keep us healthy.

To have a healthy Immune System, you must eat a lot of fiber and foods that contain antioxidants including berries, spinach, whole grain, tomatoes, carrots, soy, tea, and greens.

Your Immune System is composed of protein, organs, tissue, and special cells.

You see your immune system when you get bit by mosquito or any other bug, you usually get a red itchy bump. That to is a visual sign of your Immune System.

The Immune System is located thru out the whole body!

Things that cause a bad Immune System are unhealthy eating habits /fast food, stress, lack of sleep, negative emotions, and alcohol abuse.

Without your Immune System you would be very sick from diseases and could possibly die! You would also have cuts all over your body! Also you would not be able to get rid of mosquito bites. That’s why we need our Immune System!

Your Immune System has trouble fighting some germs or viruses without antibiotics. For example… streptococcus.
