Begin Works Cited Page Open new document in Word. Type Works Cited at top Save your works cited page to the M: drive at school
Go to article in database Citation is at the bottom of the article. Copy the MLA Citation – Hit CTRL C – Right Click mouse, Copy
Paste on Works Cited Page Paste the information to the page. – Hit CTRL-V – Right click mouse- choose Merge Formatting Continue copying and pasting all the Works Cited articles.
Center Works Cited Highlight Works Cited – Make sure you are on the Home tab – Click on the Center icon
Alphabetize Works Cited Page Home tab Paragraph ribbon Sort Icon Sort by: Paragraph/Text/Ascending
Create Hanging Indent Highlight your entire works cited page excluding heading Home tab Click Paragraph ribbon box Find Special under Indentation: Choose Hanging from Drop down menu
