A SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF MUKURTU Created by Kim Christen Withey of Washington State University Originally created for the Warumungu Aboriginal Community in Central Australia Now on version 2.0

POSOH & MUKURTU The POSOH Project will use Mukurtu initially to house resources created by the POSOH Project and to reference resources used to create POSOH curricula Possible Future uses of Mukurtu For use by Sustainable Development Institute, College of Menominee Nation For use by the Menominee Tribe to store materials such as: Language resources Digital Seed Library Any other information/resources that need to be preserved

BENEFITS OF USING MUKURTU Mukurtu was created specifically to safely store culturally sensitive artifacts, resources, and other digital heritage items Several protocols are in place to allow for multiple safeguards Mukurtu allows for all of the following media types: Images Video Audio
