Introduction The 2012 Summer Olympic Games will be held in London from 27 July to 12 August 2012, followed by the 2012 Paralympics Games from 29 August to 9 September. The arch is 133 metres above the level of the ground level. The stadium roof is about 52 metres above the pitch. The new Wembley has a circumference of 1km. The rows of seating, if placed end to end, would stretch 54 kilometres
