Cooking Jewelry Making Photography Craft Mania Sports Cheerleading Music Choir Percussion Girl Scouts Cub Scouts Treasure Quest Town Lake Links Computer Graphics Little Gammas

Cooking In cooking class children learn basic safe, kid friendly recipes. While also being taught some simple kitchen conduct. Each child, at the end of the Enrichment session will receive their own cook book with all the recipes they’ve learned how to make. Please don’t lick the bowl, click on it instead and go back home…

Treasure Quest Treasure Quest is a class designed to aid children in reading and using clues, map legends and maps correctly. At the beginning of the Enrichment session each child will receive their own passport. In which students place point stickers awarded on class and team performance. Computer Graphics Children practice using Microsoft Paint, they learn to use the various draw and paint tools available which give them sufficient means to create simple to more complex graphics designs. The designs include art drawings, layouts for design images such as flyers, greeting cards, and digital images. Students learn and practice how to copy and paste from the internet, proper use and operation of the scanner and digital camera, they also learn to store images both on the computer’s hard drive and on floppy disks. Craft Mania In this class children are encouraged to be as creative as they wish using mostly materials commonly found in any home. Craft Mania teaches patience and skill in crafting, and especially a love of creating. You don’t have to be crafty to figure this one out. Click on my painting.

Photography This class is ideal for learning basic knowledge of behind the camera skills. This class also teaches our “Shutterbugs” the proper usage of background, lighting (when needed) and props. Click on my camera to go back home in a flash.

Jewelry Making In Jewelry Making class our children learn not only how string beads. We also learn how to make beads from paper. Children are also instructed on how to make polymer clay brooches and making friendship bracelets. Click on the pearls to go back home.

Percussion Instruction Introduction to fundamental music reading and basic rhythms. Proper snare playing technique. How to perform as an ensemble. Click the sticks, to go back home.

Sports Takes our children through base fundamentals of sports such as; soccer or basketball. It’s also a great way for kids to learn good sporting ethics and sportsperson-like conduct. You have to be on the ball, to get back home.

Girl Scouts It is their goal to inspire girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism and service that they may become happy, productive, responsible and resourceful citizens. Click on me to go home.

Cub Scouts It is their mission to serve others by helping to instill values in young people, and to prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential. You don’t have to be a scout, to figure this one out.

Little Gammas Are young ladies from the Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority that come in and mentor our 4 th and 5 th grade Hispanic female students. Together they work on self esteem, cultural awareness and opportunities available in their future. Click on we three to go back home.

Town Lake Links Town Lake Links is a women's organization who meets with our 4 th and 5 th grade African-American female students as mentors that work on developing self esteem, cultural awareness and opportunities available in their future. Click on us to go back home.

Cheerleading Children learn fundamental cheerleading form and basic step routines with some simple flag corp. presentation. Slap a knee, clap a hand, click on me and home you’ll land.

Choir Our Choir class teaches the children how to project their voices, and to sing in unison. School and Enrichment Choir are one and perform on requested basis. This class sparks an interest in music appreciation. Music class also teaches movement and basic instruction on some instruments. Music Click on the notes to go home.
