Evaluation – Question 5 How did you attract/address the audience?

From my first questionnaire, I found out what people would want in a new metal magazine. I found that people wanted: a colour scheme of black, white and red. The font style, Capitals, for the heading on the front page One main image on the front page A balance of both images and text Informal language The main feature to be an interview And an effective layout What the public wanted

When constructing my magazine, I wanted to show that I used the questionnaire results to make it look realistic and effective and to also show that I have listened to my audience. I have used the colour scheme of black, white and red on all three of the pages. For the front cover I have used one image and the font, Capitals, for the heading and coverlines. I have used an interview and I have tried to use a balance of text and images. Construction

From my questionnaire, I found that the public would be more likely to buy a magazine if it was priced between £2.00 and £2.50 depending on how often it is released. I decided to price my magazine at £2.00 as I thought this was a reasonable price for a magazine to be released once a month. However, if there were any gifts to be included in the magazine, it would have to have a higher price than £2.00. I have looked at existing magazine designs and I wanted to use and develop the basic layout so that my product will look like a real magazine that is professional and aesthetically pleasing. The Magazine

A focus group is a form of qualitative research where a group of people are asked about their opinions towards a product. My focus group consisted of 6 people, three males and three females who all gave positive feedback about my product. For the next six slides, I have displayed what the people thought of my magazine.
