Travel Insurance Options Standard Insurance Coverages – –MedEx Travel Assist: Eligible if you are enrolled in basic life insurance through UO/PEBB. If you or a dependent becomes ill while traveling 100 or more miles from home. –Does not cover security evacuation (war/political unrest or natural disaster) 8
UO Supplemental International Travel Insurance When “study abroad insurance” is highly recommended: –Traveling with students –Concerns about destination (natural disaster, security) –Medical concerns/expenses (expenses may be paid up front by this insurer) Economical ($1.91 per day/1 week minimum) 9
