CONGRATULATIONS on the recent accomplishments of our VOI Therapy Team ! Tom John, DPT, MBA, OCS We’re setting the standard for EXCELLENCE! Rebecca Dickinson, PT, COMT Tom studied physical therapy at the University of Tennessee, Memphis where he earned his Physical Therapy Degree in He later received his Master of Business Administration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in He went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in He incorporates a hands-on approach to help restore functional movement, balance, biomechanics, core conditioning, agility, and posture correction with each of his patients. He remains committed to continuing education and attends multiple seminars throughout the year. Congratulations to Tom for completing the extensive process to become a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedics (OCS). Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS): Certified Manual Therapist: Nicole Motzny, PT, DPT Nicole graduated in 2000 with her Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Maryville University in Saint Louis, Missouri. While working as a physical therapist, Nicole continued her education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where she received her clinical Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. She has been specializing in Orthopaedics since Nicole joined the Vanderbilt Orthopedic Institute in 2008 as a member of the spine team. Nicole has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1996, and a member of the Orthopedic Section of the APTA since Congratulations to Nicole for completing her Manual Therapy Certification through The Manual Therapy Institute. Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist (COMT): Rebecca graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has since been practicing as a physical therapist with her focus in outpatient orthopedics and joined the Vanderbilt Orthopedic Institute in October She has been a member of the sports team most recently. Rebecca has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1999 and is an APTA credentialed Clinical Instructor. Congratulations to Rebecca for completing the extensive process of becoming a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy by the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. Cory Hustad, PT, ATC, MBA, COMT Cory is the Assistant Manager of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 1996, with a B.S. in physical therapy and has focused on general outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine since then. He completed his Athletic Trainer Certification in Cory completed his Masters in Business Administration in In 2007 Cory joined the physical therapy team at Vanderbilt, with a focus on spine rehabilitation. Cory is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is an APTA credentialed Clinical Instructor. Congratulations to Cory for completing the extensive process of becoming a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy by the Maitland- Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. Titleist Performance Institute – Golf Fitness Instructor Level I Jasper joined the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute in October of Jasper has been a Certified Athletic Trainer for over 10 years, having received both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in athletic training from the University of Virginia. Jasper is responsible for directing the fitness center’s Sport and Orthopaedic Advanced Reconditioning (SOAR) program. He holds various sport and sports medicine related certifications including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Level I coaching certifications for both USA Track & Field and USA Weightlifting. Jasper has traveled internationally providing medical coverage for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and continues to be involved with the USOC and various national sports organizations Jasper Richardson M.Ed, ATC, CSCS
