© 2003 SHRM SHRM Weekly Online Poll: February 4, 2004 Other (please specify) Officially, never. informally, once a year We are a new start up Japanese Manufacturing Company, but my experience with the Japanese is that formal employee surveys are not in the original 5 year plan. Periodically 90 Day follow up after New Hire We just conducted our first one Just conducted our first one. I am the sole owner with no employees One Person Consulting Firm Periodically, no set time frame Once a year, but we survey 1/4 of the population each quarter so we have our fingers on engagement quarterly Comprehensive survey every two years of all employees with Pulse surveys of random employees on key essentials quarterly. Last year was the first time we conducted an employee satisfaction survey, and it was for upper management only. We plan to conduct a satisfaction survey with all employees within the next year or two.
