Human & Physical Features A lot of people have cars right? Well with this in mind,in Jamaica only 75 people have cars out of 10,000. Also out of 100,000 people only 85 people are doctors and compared to America Jamaica doesn’t look the best because789 out of 100,000 are doctors in America. Jamaica is a small country and there is not that many people. There is 299,896,000 in the U.S.A and 2,682,000 Jamaica. Jamaica is small little quiet country it is only4,244 mi 2. Aside from that Jamaicas birthrate is To sum up Jamaica compared to the U.S has its pros and cons but over all it is a good country.

Flag The Jamaican flag is very unique and fascinating For instance, the flag was supposed to have a horizontal striped pattern X ? Further more, the green triangles on the top and bottom of the flag represent hope and agriculture. Also, the yellow cross in the middle part of the Jamaican flag represents mineral wealth of Jamaica and sunlight. In 1985, after Jamaica gained independence is when the flag was adopted. The original flag was rejected because it looked to much like the Tanganyika flag. In conclusion, the Jamaican flag has a lot of history and fun facts behind it.

Government  The Jamaican capital is called Kingston.  August 6th is Independence day, in Jamaica a national holiday  Jamaica Gained its independence in 1962 August 6.  The time difference in Jamaica is the same D.C.  In Jamaica the National anthem is “Jamaica Land We Love “.

Religion Did you know that everyone in Jamaica practices Christianity as there religion? Also there are 2billion people in the world that practice Christianity. In Jamaica, there are 7 different kinds of Christianity practiced. The main type of Christianity practiced protestant. 64.8% people practice protestant. Besides that, some people in Jamaica have no religion, there is 21.3% that have no religion. In conclusion, Jamaica is a country dominated by Christianity.

Timeline Jamaica begins to cultivate sugar canes. Doing this will help there economy SLAVERY ABOLISHED! Jamaica has no more slaves and is free September; HURRICANE IVAN. Animals, plant,& Natural resources Have you ever wondered what kinds of plants animals and natural resources are in Jamaica? By the way, have you ever heard of a mongoose? They are very similar to a ground hog but more fears' and rough. They love to eat, rats, mice, and other insects. Some agriculture in Jamaica is yams. To begin with, there are 4 different kinds of yams. Most people confuse yams and sweet potatoes. In Jamaica they grow lots of yams. Something that stood at t me was the natural resources in Jamaica. Jamaica has a total of 150 billion pounds of lime stone. With all that if Jamaica upgraded its lime stone production and the money rolls in. In conclusion Jamaica has some interesting animals plant and natural resources.
