Built on the RunCoCo platform devised by Oxford for the Great War Archive family history roadshows – events at which we catalogued and digitised stories, papers and memorabilia Provided a website to which people could upload their own material

Phase 1: 2011 Germany 9 Roadshow events across Germany 600 people came to the roadshows; 350 contributed material 560 people contributed through the website 26,000 images and scans entered Europeana 40% of these were uploaded direct to site Most of the material was unpublished: letters, diaries, drawings, photographs, postcards
