We are learning to research about grass.

Does grass have roots, stems or leaves? Grass has roots. Grass has stems. Grass has leaves. The stems of grass are almost microscopic. Some people think that grass is just leaves and roots because the stem is so small.

Grass is cut and planted in spring until summer when it starts to grow.

The study of grass is called agrostology. An agrostologer also studies the soil that the grass grows in.

Humans use grass to decorate their lawn or lawns, farmers use grass to feed their livestock.

Yes, you can buy them in big bags at gardening stores.

How does grass reproduce? Grass reproduces asexually. Asexually involves rhizomes. Grass reproduces sexually. Sexually involves the seed head. The seed grows with the season.

Self- Assessment Good things Improvements I have good pictures. I have enough slides. I had fun. I could write more. I could use my time wisely. I could be more serious.

Bye, Bye!
