Open 7:30 – 3:30 every school day

 No backpacks allowed.  Backpacks can be left along the entrance hall or behind the Circulation Desk.  Food and Drink are allowed at the tables that do not have computers.

 Students must work quietly.  Computers are for school related use only.  No personal , shopping sites, games, etc…  Printing is limited to 3 pages. If you need to print more, ask first.

Audiovisuals Audiobooks & Playaways (on compact discs and cassette tapes) (2 weeks) Videos (on DVDs and videotape) (2 weeks) Music (on compact discs) (2 weeks)

Equipment Compact disc players (2 weeks) Cassette tape players (2 weeks) Video cameras (2 weeks) Digital cameras (2 weeks)

 Magazines & Newspapers (non-circulating)  Computers (for school related use only)  LMC website  Video viewing area  Online card catalog (3 stations/all computers)  Neo2s (Accelerated Reader quizzes)  Quiet study and reading areas

Accelerated Reader books are located within each book classification. For example: fiction AR books are located in the fiction section; non-fiction AR books are located in the non-fiction section ; graphic novel AR books are located in the graphic novel section, etc… Accelerated Reader books are labeled with colored dots. If a book does NOT have a colored dot, it is NOT an AR book. The colored dots represent the following levels: YELLOW2.0 – 2.9 ORANGE3.0 – 3.9 GREEN4.0 – 4.9 PINK5.0 – 5.9 BLUE6.0 – 6.9 RED7.0 – 7.9 GRAY8.0 – 8.9 PURPLE9.0 – 9.9 BLACK10.0 and above

Accelerated Reader quizzes can be taken in the LMC or in your English classroom. When taking quizzes in the LMC:  Request a NEO2 at the Circulation Desk.  Take your quiz (complete all steps so the report will print)  Return the NEO2 to the circulation desk  Confirm that your report has printed  All reports will be given to your English teachers by the LMC staff  Remember to return your AR book.

 Late Charges = 5 cents daily (excludes weekends and holidays)  Excess Printing Charge = 5 cents per page  No checkouts if an item is already overdue  No checkouts if you have a fine.  Refusal to adhere to LMC rules will result in restriction of LMC use.  Repeated discipline incidents will result in removal of LMC privileges.
