What you should cover Why is the Periodic Table important to me? Periodic table history Mendeleev (and other contributors) Current table’s arrangement (columns, rows) Why is it useful (trends) Families (groups) Properties and valence elctrons

Creativity is grade insurance Each of the previous items is worth 10 points Creativity can be up to 50 points You cannot earn more than a 100%, BUT if you accidentally leave something off or get something wrong, a creative presentation can make up the difference to keep your 100%.
