Vegetable Oil in Use

How Can You Use Vegetable Oil Fuel? Most diesel cars can use vegetable oil once they have had certain changes done to them. For example… Heat exchanger and an additional tank

Advantages of Vegetable Oil Fuel Widely Available: You can get it any where there is a restaurant with a deep fryer that uses vegetable oil. (though you will have to filter the gunk) When used in engine it burns much cleaner than gasoline. It reduces the carbon dioxide emissions compared to gasoline. Cheap to get: because you can get it at restaurants/fast food places with a fryer. Typically they will either give it to your for free or super cheap.

Disadvantages of Vegetable Oil Fuel It cost a lot to change your car from gasoline to vegetable oil. It cost about a little less than $2,000 for an installation kit. It also takes up a lot of car space. The vegetable oil may clog the fuel injectors over time. You will need to clean it regularly and possibly switch fuel to keep your car in working condition.
