 Introduction  There are many mental health issues affecting people at work and in organizations. Some are diagnosable mental illnesses, while others are simply emotional and psychological stressors affecting employees’ work and relationships. Emotional distress in the workplace effects the whole organizations including workers and their family as they relate to productivity and relationships. Crisis Support Services of Healthy Balance is based on humanistic idea and supported by mental behavioral professionals who can help people in emotional crisis. Our crisis hot line reflects this commitment by responding to crisis calls and providing short-term intervention and referrals to callers, who are struggling with a variety of mental and emotional life challenges.

 Mission  To offer emotional support to employees of organizations in need of crisis management and crisis hot line during times of crisis, to work to prevent the suicide of those who are actively suicidal, and to offer hope and caring in times of hopelessness.

 Operation  A Crisis hotline will be available for clients 24/7 in emergencies which can occur anytime and anywhere. If our clients have emergencies they can contact our hotline toll free number 24 hours a day. Professional hotline call center operators will answer the call immediately and forward it to one our trained crisis intervention counselors.

 Staffing  Supervision:  The program is supervised by mental behavioral professionals with PhDs and doctorate degrees with sufficient experience in crisis management and related issues.  Staff:  Appropriately experienced individuals who have passed the required training to operate a warm-line telephone support services  Appropriate experience and training includes any of the following:  At least two years of working as a mental health or other related human service professional  Qualification as a certified mental behavioral Specialist

Emotional disturbances can be disabling for an employee, and can often strike without warning.  Whether or not your company is participating in a wellness program or not, Healthy Balance is promising healthy positive mental and behavioral changes in your company’s culture with the help of our dedicated, knowledgeable, and certified mental behavioral wellness professionals. We will act quickly and appropriately in an emotional emergency situation and if our support is further needed we are able to provide services at our local office or provide referrals to a convenient location your employee reside.

 In Summary our Telephone Crisis Services include:  The telephone crisis service is a 24-hour 7-day a week “hot- line” service that provides appropriate counseling, consultation and referral to individuals who are exhibiting acute symptoms of disturbed thought, behavior, mood, or social relationships, and to the families, friends or colleagues of those individuals on their behalf. The goal is to support the person in such a way as to assure their safety and the safety of those around them, and to facilitate those actions that will best support their wellness and recovery.  Service Operations:  Operate 24 hours/365 days a year  Provide counseling, consultation and information and referral services both to individuals (adults, older adults, and children) in distress and to people calling on behalf of those individuals.
