3D Animation Environments Planning

The main environment of the scene will be a section of a London street. In the background will be a brick wall and behind that there will be an overlaid image of the sky with a moon. The moon will be within the photo and not a separate 3D objec.t The brick wall may be downloaded, but If can not be found it will be an image placed around an elongated square.

Props in the foreground like bushes and litter to make the 3D scene look more real will be downloaded. One of the most detailed object to be in the animation will be a bike, I was initially going to create the bike as one of my chosen 6 objects but then realised the complexity of creating something that had so many different elements and very small details that would be hard for a beginner to take on. So, I’ve decided to keep it as a prop which will be chained to the lamp post and the light will also reflect off of the shiny metal of the bike, I will try and do this by hopefully adding a light texture to the surface of the already created object.

 I am also thinking of adding an animation of “snow”, perhaps having snow falling from the top of the scene “sky”, this could be done by using particles and adding a white texture/ colour to them. And duplicating a small sphere to fall in group form, forming a snowfall. This could also trigger the main small animation of the news paper blowing off the bench. This adds a Christmassy theme to the environment.
