PORTFOLIO PREP Preparing Notebook/Binder

Portfolio Requirements Prepare 3 copies of the portfolio. The portfolio consists of the following: 0 A ½” three-ring binder with clear front cover and sheet protectors 0 Cover page on front of notebook 0 Needs to have name and year at minimum 0 Design is student choice 0 Table of contents with dot leaders and page numbers 0 each page of the portfolio should be properly numbered 0 Start with the first page of the research paper (exclude the title page) 0 Documentation pictures (resized photos) should have a date stamp and be identified by number and have a caption explaining the contents 0 Dividers are acceptable but not required

Portfolio Requirements 0 Table of Contents (use appropriate margins and dot leaders) 0 may fill in blank area with picture of project 0 Final copy of revised research paper with the grade rubric sheet (rubric is numbered) 0 Completed project time logs with proper signatures 0 take out blank rows; number pages appropriately 0 The word “WE” should not be part of your project time logs since this is YOUR project 0 Student reflection paper w/title 0 continue proper page numbering 0 The word “WE” should not be in your reflection paper

Portfolio Requirements 0 Documentation or illustrations of project work with numbered captions 0 Pictures should have a date stamp (if possible) 0 Pictures should be resized before putting into a Word document (640x480 size) 0 Continue proper page numbering 0 Final TYPED copy of project proposal w/proper signatures 0 Continue proper page numbering 0 Copy of notebook should be given to mentor and 3 rd judge 2 weeks prior to presentation (check deadline dates)
