Muslim Muslims believe that the prophet Muhammad was meditating when one of God’s messengers, Gabriel, came to him with a passage from the Qur’an. Over the next 23 years, Gabriel would return until the Qur’an passages were complete. Muhammad spread the word about “Allah” for others to follow. Muslims believe that there is only one God, not a holy Trinity.
Roman Catholic The Roman Catholic religion is centered around the doctrine that God's grace is conveyed through seven sacraments, Eucharist, baptism, confirmation, penance, holy orders, matrimony, and anointing of the sick. Roman Catholics believe in the Holy Trinity ( the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit), the Ten Commandments and that God created the universe in seven days.
Protestant The Protestant religion believes basically the same as Roman Catholics other than some differences. A protestant is someone whose belief systems is broken away or formulated in response to issues with the Catholic Church.
Hindu Hindus believe that there is one true God but he can come in many different varieties in nature, animals, spirits and through reincarnation.
Buddhist Buddhist religion believes that there is not a true God, but believes that Buddha is the person who is showing them enlightenment. The word Buddha is used to both recall the historical figure and to remind the living that this was a person just like ourselves. A man named Siddhartha Gautama was born around 567 B.C. and gained enlightenment when he was 35 and taught for another 45 years. The word Buddha and the statue is only a representation of Guatama.
