Cyberbullying "Cyberbullying" is when a child, preteen or teen is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, etc. by using the Internet. When schools try and get involved by disciplining the student for cyberbullying actions they are often sued for exceeding their authority and violating the student's free speech right. Ways to stop cyberbullying: Talk to school staff. Report bully account to social media service providers. Prevent Cyberbullying by not posting information online that could be used against you.

Verbal Bullying Verbal bullying can affect one's self image, and affect someone in emotional and psychological ways. In some cases, verbal bullying can reach a point where the victim is so depressed, and wants to escape so badly, that he or she may turn to substance abuse, or in some extreme cases, suicide. Ways to stop verbal bullying: Do not resort to rudeness yourself. Many bullies lose interest if you do not sink to their level. Also, if you act rudely and aggressively yourself, you may invite a physical confrontation, which could add physical hurts to the emotional. Focus on your friends, a victim that is surrounded by friends can dissuade a verbal bully from engaging.

Physical Bullying At least 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. Physical bullying is when a bully causes physical damage to a person or their property repeatedly. Ways to stop Physical Bullying: Keep calm and walk away. Avoid areas where bullying is likely to happen Tell an adult.

Conclusion and Statistics Alert! This may be boring information. This information is based on information in the United States. 77% of students victims; 14% have horrible reactions No intervention made in 85% of cases. Children and teens most likely to be bullied; 6 th grade through 10 th grade students.
