The Thirteen Colonies
George Washington was one of the founding fathers. George Washington became the first president of the United States of America. Later, George was put on the 1 dollar bill. He was also the commander and chief of the American Revolutionary war. Ben Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers in which he helped write the Declaration of Independence. He also made many inventions such as the bifocal glasses which helped people see from far away or up close. John Adams was another Founding Fathers. John became the second president of the United States of America. Alexander Hamilton was a Founding Father. He was the founder of the first American political party.

3 Regions of the Thirteen Colonies New England is known for freezing winters and mild summers. Middle Colonies are known as “Bread Baskets” because of there wide amount of wheat, oat, and rye. Southern Colonies are known for their warm climate and mild winters.

Food Some food people ate back then were, corn, bread, and peanut soup.
Jobs Farmer- A person who grows crops, tobacco, cotton. Blacksmith- A person who works with metal, such as nails. Cooper- A person who makes everything out of copper.
Slavery Slaves back then, would be brought to America from white men that captured them. Due to the large amount of farming done in Virginia, Virginia depended most on slaves.
