Why Calendars Are Important Plant/Workcenter Prevents the calculated Receive Date from being on a holiday/non-working day Supplier Prevents the calculated Ship Date from being on a holiday/non-working day 6

Why Supplier Calendar Is Important Generally How the Supplier Calendar is Used 1.Card is released and the Release Date and Time is set 2.Get the lead time for the Item 3.Add the Lead Time to the Released Date and Time 4.Calculate the Ship time taking into account any holidays on the calendar during the lead time – if the Ship day then happens to be a non-working day then it is moved to the next supplier working day. 7

Why Plant/Workcenter Calendar Is Important Generally How the Plant/Workcenter Calendar is Used 1.Take the Supplier Ship date and add the Transit time 2.Checks the plant calendar to see if this date is a working day for the plant, if so, then it sets the Required Receive Date 3.If that day is a non-working day then Ultriva selects the next working day for the plant as the Required Receive Date 8
