After PowerPoint has opened, click on the Design button
Select the colour scheme you want to use
Click on Text layout you want
Type in the text book that appears
To insert a picture, click on the INSERT menu button
Select CLIP ART… or FROM FILE…
If using clip art, type in your search term in the SEARCH box that appears
Select the image you want to use
To insert a hyperlink to a website, click on the INSERT menu button again
Then select TEXT BOX from the drop down menu
Type in a meaningful name for the link… then click on the insert HYPERLINK button
Type in the address of the hyperlink…
Click OK!
Then repeat the process for other links…
If you need to modify the link, RIGHT CLICK on the text, and select EDIT HYPERLINK…
Then EDIT as needed…
To PUBLISH your PowerPoint as a webpage, click on the FILE menu button, then select SABE AS WEBPAGE from the drop down menu…
To enhance the look of your page click on the PUBLISH button
Then click on WEB OPTIONS
By default it will give you a black navigation frame. Click on the ARROW to alter it…
Select as above…
Then remove the tick from add navigation controls…
Click PUBLISH to finish Be sure to use BROWSE to select where you want the files to be placed
If you have a multiple-page website, and want navigation between slides, click on SLIDE SHOW, then ACTION BUTTONS, then select the > button! And draw your button on the page.
By default it is set to NEXT SLIDE, then click OK…
