The 2004 season of Cedarcrest Track & Field aka Say goodbye to Kingco….

2004 Season Kingco records (Girls 1-5 & Boys 0-6). Girls back to being Academic State Champions. 4 out of last 5 years. 2 nd Annual T&F Camp.

Survive to compete another day Kingco League Championships Girls – 9 th (4 individual & 2 relays placed) Boys – 10 th – CHS has had better meets.

Survive to compete another day SeaKing District Championships Karen - 4 th place - 300m Hurdles Girls 4x2 - 8 th place

Star Track 2003 State Meet Girls’ Weekend Karen breaks school record Girls recognized as State Academic Champions.

Lisa Cullimore - Freshman Earned her first varsity letter. A little bit of everything - 300m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 4x2, 4x4, long jump and high jump. League qualifier in the high jump. Ran on the 4x2 and 4x4 teams at Districts. All-time lists: 6 th – 200m; Tied 6 th - high jump; 9 th – 300m hurdles; Tied 9 th – 100m. Next year? – Sub 60 in the 400m? Sub 50 in the 300m hurdles?

Kyle Hamilton - Freshman Earned his first varsity letter. Competed in the pole vault, javelin, long jump and 4x4. League qualifier in the pole vault. Competed in the state decathlon. First CHS frosh to do so. All-time lists: Tied 2 nd – pole vault. Tied 4 th – new javelin. Next year? – PV school record? 5000 pts in decathlon?

Nettie Kero - Freshman Earned her first varsity letter. Ran the 800m, 1600m, 3200m and 4x4. Ran on the 4x4 team at Districts. All-time list: 4 th – 1600m, 7 th – 800m, 10 th – 3200m. Next year? – District qualifier at 800m? Break 2:30?

The Sophomores

David Cortez - Sophomore Earned a J.V. award. Threw the javelin and the discus. Won JV Kingco in the javelin. Sophomore record with new javelin. All-time lists: 2 nd – new javelin, 7 th – all javelin. Next year? – With another year of experience? 150’? 160’?

Jereme Farmer - Sophomore Earned a J.V. award. Ran the 800m, 1600m and 4x4. Next year? – Sub 2:20? Sub 5:30?

Daniel Kennelly - Sophomore Earned a J.V. award. Threw the javelin, shot and discus. All-time list: 5 th – new javelin. Next year? – 120’ in the javelin?

Karen Lawton - Sophomore Earned her second varsity letter. Ran both hurdles, 4x4 and high jumped. League, District and State qualifier in 300m hurdles. Member of District 4x4 team. School, sophomore and freshman records in the 300m Hurdles. All-time list: 1 st - 300m Hurdles; Tied 3 rd – High Jump; 5 th – 100m Hurdles; Tied 3 rd on high jump. 14 th on Power list. Next year? – Pasco again? How low can she go?

Kenya Marshall - Sophomore Earned her second varsity letter. Ran the 100m, 200m, 4x2, and competed in the high jump and long jump. School and sophomore record in the long jump. Sophomore and freshman record in the high jump. League qualifier in the high jump. District qualifier in the long jump and on 4x2.
