This does not include a student’s lap.

 Turn off the notebook, disconnect external power and any external devices  Do not spray directly on device  Gently wipe the display using a soft, lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol-free glass cleaner  Safely clean the cover, keyboard, and touchpad with alcohol-free Dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride 0.3 percent maximum concentration. (example: try Germicidal disposable wipes)  Static-free cloth wipes will also work  Dry microfiber cleaning cloth or a chamois (static-free cloth without oil)

 If the computer does not turn on, check the power. Is it charged? Power strip turned on?  If the computer appears unresponsive, shut down or press the on/off button for 15 seconds to turn it off. Unplug the power cord, wait 30 sec., then re-plug and power back up.  If using headphones, check the cable connections and the volume control on the headset or cord.  Check the taskbar for the speaker icon. Right click the icon and select Open Volume Control. Check for any muted options and uncheck if necessary.  Is the wireless light on? Does the taskbar show an X over the network connection bars?
