Who can donate to the Annual Program Fund? Anyone! Rotarians Non-Rotarians Clubs Businesses

Who is a sustaining member of the Rotary Foundation? A Rotarian who donates at least $ per year into their Rotary Annual Giving Account. Once $1, has been donated, the account holder can be awarded a Paul Harris Fellow. $10, into the account results in Major Donor status

What happens to our Donations? Any donation to the Annual Programs Fund during the Rotary year will be spend able as of July 1, Why The interest from donations pays the expense of the Foundation. 100% of donations go to Rotary projects.

What happens to the money then? 50% of the funds remain in the Rotary World Fund to sponsor Rotary projects and matching grants. 50% is returned as a credit to the District Designated Fund (DDF)

What happens to the money then? Based on our new Revenue Sharing Plan, 80% of the District Designated Fund go to the club who made the donation as a credit. Clubs can then allocate their money to: A.Humanitarian Grants B.Simplified Grants C.Educational Scholarships.

The District keeps 20% to fund district projects. A mbassadorial Scholarships University Teachers Scholarships Peace and Conflict Resolution Scholarships Grants

How Revenue Sharing Works! 1)Your club gives $5, to the Annual Programs Fund. Three years later: 2)The World Fund keeps $2,500. 3)The District Designated Fund (DDF)receives a credit from the World Fund for $2,500. 4)Your club receives a credit from the District Designated Fund for $2, )The District keeps $ for district projects.

What can you do with the $2,000.? 1)You have the option to allocate some or all of your funds to a Humanitarian Grant. 2)You have the option to allocate some or all your funds to an Educational Scholarship. 3)You have the option to allocate up to 25% or $ for a Simplified Grant.

Show me the money! Your club applies for a Humanitarian Grant. Your DDF Credit $2,000. RI Matches your DDF Credit $2,000. You have towards a grant $4,000. The World Funds keeps $ for RI projects. The District keeps $ for District Projects. Original donation was $5,000.00

Your club applies for a Simplified Grant and a Humanitarian Grant. Simplified Grant 25% $ 500. Humanitarian Grant $1,500. RI Matches Humanitarian Grant $1,500. World Fund keeps $1,000. District keeps $ 500. Clubs Original Donation $5,000.

Clubs Partnering on Match Grants 1)RI will only fund a grant if it puts up $5, matching funds. 2)Thanks to Revenue Sharing all clubs will now be able to participate in matching grants. 3)Clubs now have a golden opportunity to partner with one or more clubs or districts to participate in the matching grant process.
