Solar Power From The Moon Our Planets Last Hope For Survival By: Hakim Muhammad

Scientific Question Scientific Question Can solar power be harnested from the moon? Can solar power be harnested from the moon?

Hypothesis Hypothesis Solar power can be harnested from the moon by absorbing the rays being reflected off the moon. Solar power can be harnested from the moon by absorbing the rays being reflected off the moon.

My Project My Project The reason I chose this project is because I believe that solar power from the moon can be an alternate source of power so we don’t burn up our planets resources. Also, because the sun isn't up 24 hours a day the light from the moon might be the night time source of solar energy. Look in To The Future Look in To The Future If solar power can be harnested from the moon and used as an alternate source of power to fuel modern and future day society our planet and all that inhabit it may have a better future. If solar power can be harnested from the moon and used as an alternate source of power to fuel modern and future day society our planet and all that inhabit it may have a better future. If not other alternate sources of power and fuel should be found or our planet, animals, and even us might not have such a good future. Animals harmed by not finding alternate sources of energy Animals harmed by not finding alternate sources of energy Polar bears are one of the most effected by global warming. Polar bears can’t catch the food they normally eat (seals) and are resorting to cannibalism. Scientist believe they will be extinct by Polar bears are one of the most effected by global warming. Polar bears can’t catch the food they normally eat (seals) and are resorting to cannibalism. Scientist believe they will be extinct by 2050.

Penguins are another species effected by global warming. Their primary source of food is starting to die off due to the melting of our polar icecaps and soon they too will start to die until they are also extinct. Ways To Obtain Lunar Power Ways To Obtain Lunar Power One way would be to use specially designed solar panels to obtain this sort of power. One way would be to use specially designed solar panels to obtain this sort of power. Second, a special machine could be used to draw to energy. Second, a special machine could be used to draw to energy. Third, a satellite orbiting the moon could absorb and preserve the energy until it can be used. Will This Power Source Last? Will This Power Source Last? This source of power is designed to be a alternate source of power so we don’t use up our natural resources and harm our environment in the process. But, if we can save our planet using this source of power than lunar power may become a secondary or even a permanent power source in our everyday lives. Results Results Solar power can be obtained using solar panels specially designed to obtain solar energy from the moon. Solar power can be obtained using solar panels specially designed to obtain solar energy from the moon.

Conclusion Conclusion In the end I was right about obtaining solar power from the moon and if it is used to help our planet we may have a future to look forward too.
