Francisco Pizarro Voyages from 1512-1540

Pizarro’s Early Years Pizarro was born in Spain , in 1470. Pizarro was born in a city called Trujillo ,Spain. Pizarro visited South and Central America. Pizarro lived with Pigs and drank pig milk when he was a little boy.

Achievements Pizarro explored Inca, Canzmarca, South America, and Central America. Pizarro started exploring because he thought it would be fun. Pizarro was sponsored by the French. Pizarro found a city called Lima and later named it Cuidad De Los Reyes or City of Kings Pizarro joined Balboa’s expedition to the Pacific Ocean in 1513. Pizarro’s empire expanded over 2,500 miles.

Map These are maps of Pizarro’s adventure to the Incan area and to search Peru. Pizarro’s adventures in his life were all in South Americain the Incan territory.

Encounters with native Americans Pizarro killed the leader of the Incan tribe. He then killed a good part of the tribe. Pizarro made the others be his slaves. Pizarro took all the gold they had and kept it to himself. Pizarro was then assassinated by a Incan tribe member in 1541

Interesting Facts Pizarro tried to conquer Inca for the Incans gold. Pizarro made Spain one of the richest countries in the world. Pizarro renamed a city that used to be Lima Ciudad De Los Reyes or City of Kings.
