Copyright Definition/Explanation: Legal monopoly that protects published or unpublished original work. Why should you respect intellectual property?- You should respect other peoples thoughts because they took their time to work on it. Also because they didn’t just make it so someone could use it as their own.

Doctrine of Fair Use Definition/Explanation: Restriction on the exclusive use rights of a copyright owner. Have you ever violated the “Doctrine of Fair Use”? Did you do it intentionally or out of ignorance – simply not knowing? I’ve never done it, I just look up information and understand it and change it into my own words.

Guidelines There are different guidelines at each school. It all just depends on how the school is. There are lots of different guidelines some having to do with dress code. Basically they have to do with what you can and can’t do.
